Sister bonding!!!

this weekend was the GREATEST! I got to spend it with my sister KA. I always love when I get to see her because I miss both my sisters so much. I wish I lived in DC with them... But I have to "get that degree."

KA flew in on Thursday night. I was in Orem for a dentist appointment but had to come back to Logan for class. I came down on Friday afternoon. KA and I hung out with mom and dad. My dad and I went on a bike ride because it was so beautiful in Orem. That night we all had dinner and just hung out together. Whenever KA and I get together I would say she brings out the best side of me. We just laughed and laughed and laughed for hours.

Saturday morning we woke up at three in the morning to drive to Moab. KA and her best friend Ashley ran the half marathon. I sadly didn't run it because I didn't sign up and I had to run a little further than the marathon. We got there around 6:30 in the morning to check in. We slept in the car for a while then the buses were leaving at 8:30. I decided to ask a local where to run at. Good move on my part. I think I ran the greatest run of my entire life. For people who run understand you have good running days and bad. Well Saturday was an amazing running day. I ran in this canyon that was amazing. I didn't have my camera so I was a little bummed but I got the mental shots for sure.

After I was done I ran over to the finish line so I could see them cross. I was so proud of them both. They did an amazing job. They finished the Marathon in 2:10. (I dont have any pictures because they are on KA's camera) Way to go KA and Ash. We drove home that afternoon.

Now I remember when I lived in Florida there was one thing I would crave more than anything and that is Cafe Rio. KA is the same way.We went to Cafe Rio for dinner with one of her friends. Our parents went to St. George so we had the house to ourselves. We went to Joe and Jaime's to visit with them. They are so great. Joe was hilarious! We came home around 10:30 and we were both exhausted. We got into bed and fell ended our perfect day by watching My Best Friends Wedding. What a great movie! The only thing we were missing was MJ.

This morning we got up and made the best whole wheat waffles. They were amazing. We went to church and cut a little early to go to see Aunt Edna and Sally's graves. I love going to see them. I left to come back to Logan and cried the whole way here because I miss my sisters so much.

It was an amazing weekend. All we needed to top off the weekend was MJ for the triple threat. I am so glad I got to spend time with sister KA. She is so incredible. I want to be just like her. We had a blast together and I cant wait to see her again!!! Lub you sister!



This is what you look like after you run 15 miles and you dont want to smell on the car ride home. Probably the greatest i've looked in a while.
