MARATHON WEEKEND!!!

This weekend was the Salt Lake City Marathon. It was amazing. I slept at Kate and Lisa's house the night before which was so helpful. I woke up at 5 am to meet up with Maridth (KA and MJ's friend from DC). We got up to the starting line. George (my garmin) and I were ready to go. I started about two mins after the official clock. The race was amazing! I loved the course. I saw Randi and Chelsea at mile 20 which made it SO great. Really in a marathon all you want to see is people you know. It made an incredible difference. The only time that was hard for me was mile 24 to 25, all the sudden when you are almost done they just decide to throw an up hill mile on you? what were they thinking? I was not a happy runner during that mile. I finished the marathon in 4:13:39. I was so happy because my last marathon I ran in 4:31:10. I shaved off about 18:10. The best part of the whole race was seeing all my very best friends and sister in law with the nieces and nephew at the end! It just made it all worth it. LOVED my life!
