Yellow House!

I am all about goals in life. nothing better than crossing off something on a "to do list" for me. I moved to Logan four years ago. One thing I love to do more than anything is what I call "house shopping" driving around looking at people's houses. I love to do it. After moving to Logan I found the most incredible house I have ever seen, right across the street from the temple. It is seriously my dream home. I have LOVED this house for four and a half years now. I would ALWAYS try to convince other people to come to the door with me and try to look inside.

One time Ashley Hall and I got to the front door and look inside and the family was having dinner. so mission was not accomplished. That was the closes I have ever come. Back in October Mandi Burton and I made a list of things to do while I still lived in Logan, the yellow house tour was one of them.

Well yesterday it happened.... I really did it. The Burton's and I were at the temple and I looked over to the yellow house and thought, now is my chance. I convinced Whitney Burton to come to the door with me. I knew I could count on Whit!!! We first practiced what to say so we didn't look SO weird, just kinda weird. We got to the front door and Janet (my new best friend) answered. I explained to her how much I have loved her house for four years and she let us come in. She told me people do this all the time it was nothing new. I think the part that got her is when I asked if I could take a picture in her house. She was TOTALLY up for it. I was so happy. It was beautiful inside. Everything I have dreamed of and more. one dream in my life crossed off!!! I want to own it one day! I think it is amazing!
