Men?

Do you think men and women will ever understand each other? The reason for this post is not to pick on men. It is to try and understand them? The last week I have had two people talk to me about the same thing. Commitment!!! That ten letter word that everyone runs away from?

I got a phone call from one of my best friends in Florida telling me about her situation with her boyfriend. Basically he doesn't want to commit. The very next day my other best friend from Florida called me with the same problem? I don't understand it. They are amazing girls and any guy would be lucky to commit to them. Why do men do this to us? I have had the same situation in the past where I was ready to commit to something and the other person wasn't. I don't understand why this happens? Why one person in the relationship is ready for something and the other isn't?

This is the other thing that blows my mind... These two girls have been dating these guys on and off for three to five years? Don't you think you would know what to do in that time period? Why the on and off business? Is it like the song "with or without you" they just can't live with us but they can't live without us either? or Is it men or women that have the issue? Maybe men or women are just scared to commit to the right thing? Like they won't be able to live up to the other person so they do the on and off business?

Well it just doesn't make sense to me.... Maybe one day it will. As for now I would love your thoughts?
