A day off work and I still get paid! :)

This Memorial Day Weekend was a great and much needed weekend. It is always great to have a day off of work and still get paid... I guess this is why I went to college :) Well this weekend was AMAZING!

Friday night Tess, Megan, Jeff, Mike and I went to the ward camp out. I love my ward so it was great to go with them. We drove up on Friday night. We stayed at the Heber camp ground! I have never been there before. We slept in really nice cabins. We played cards and just sat around and talked. BEST PART of the trip... sleeping next to Tess!!! :) we were basically spooning the whole night. It was better than being cold and sleeping on the hard wood cot.

Saturday we went to Park City to the outlet malls. Gap outlet... CHECK!!! Banana outlet... CHECK!!! Great deals at both! Truly it is sad how much I love to shop. I would say it is a talent I am that good!!! :)

We had the Henshaw Family BBQ at my parents house which is currently my house. It was great to see all my cousins.

After Celisa and I drove to Logan for the rest of the weekend. I love Celisa SO much! She is the best to road trip with singing, dancing, and just talking the whole time. LOVE IT!

I realized this trip why I love Logan SO much. Logan is where I became Emo. I have so many memories at every spot in Logan. I have this special, special, special, special, special, spot that over looks Logan. It is the best. I go everytime I am in Logan and remember all the times I would just sit and ponder on what I wanted my life to be like. Only very special people have been to my special spot with me! I of course went there this trip. LOVE my special spot!

Saturday night we just sat around and talked for hours! Since I lacked sleep from the night before (sharing a bed with Tess) I fell a sleep a little early... But still heard most of the conversation. I love my freshmen year friends. I am incredibly lucky to have them.

Sunday we went to church and Ash taught Sunday school. After I went on a walk with Syd. (I have a girl crush on Syd, shhhhhhh don't tell her. ) We walked all around campus and the cemetory two of my favorite places in Logan. I went back to Ash's house and watched OTH with Celisa and Ash. I forgot how good that show use to be! :)

We had a BBQ with Amy and Christian that night. All of our favorite foods from freshman year... It makes sense to me now why we all gained ten pounds our freshman year! :)

Later we walked around the temple and campus again! I love USU campus. It is so pretty and amazing when you haven't seen it for a while.

Monday, I got up and ran my favorite run in Logan. I seriously love and REALLY miss running in Logan. I feel faster when I am there. It's great. The best part is where ever you run in Logan there is ALWAYS a hill (hills are my favorite). We had breakfast with Amy and Christian and then went to hike the wind caves. George my watched told us how fast and far we were going. We had a great time guessing how fast we were going.

It was a great weekend.
