NEVER Say NEVER

I went to Chels's cabin this weekend which I will probably blog about later today.

Background: As many of you know I never leave home without earrings in my ears. I love earrings and it makes me feel like a girl! Well I have a special pair of earrings that I wear every other day if not everyday. my PEARLS!!! I love them. I bought them in Florida two years ago and they have been with me ever since. I do everything in my pearls. I especially use my pearls to work out in. I am being seriously about this I ALWAYS wear them to work out in. WHY? because I feel less like a man and more like a girl!

So this weekend at the cabin Chels, Spooner and I were going to float the river. Chels says "Emo don't you want to take your pearls out? You might lose them..." I think to myself and then say out "Oh Chels, I WOULD NEVER LOSE THESE EARRINGS! I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING IN THEM." At the end of the river... Still had my earrings. At the end of hot tubbing... still had my earrings. At the end of the fire.... Still had my earrings. At the start of the movie... Still had my earrings.

This was my BRIGHT idea. I have NEVER once stayed awake during a movie that has started past 10:00pm. We started the movie and I thought to myself I will just lay here for a min and then go upstairs and get in bed. Well that didn't happen... In the middle of the night I went upstairs to my bed.

Next morning, Lynn (Chels's mom) said "oh I found ONE of your earrings in the couch." ONE..... OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the other one was no where to be found. We looked before you left and everyone was so nice to really look for my lost pearl.... NO WHERE TO BE FOUND... I guess you could say a part of me will always be in Pine, Idaho!

So since I no longer have my pearls. I still have to work out. This is a picture of my first work out with out them? I look like a man.

My dad and I went on a bike ride. Classic Dad moment... "Hey dad want to go for a bike ride?" "Yeah honey we can go for a stroll." Definition of stroll in my mind: a light ride with little or no hills barely working up a sweat lasting about 30 mins. I guess my dad and I have different definitions. 9 miles later we returned home. It was the perfect night for a "stroll."

I really think my pearls made me a better runner, this morning was rough with out them...

PEARLS!!! I miss you. But I will find you one day! :)

xoxo,

Emo

I will bring you new pearls! I never leave home without earrings, as you know, and my pearls are always my go-to pair. However, I don't want a pearl wedding ring ;) love you!
